100 ohm resister limits KeepAlive capacitor charging current. Diode allows full KeepAlive capacitor current too decoder. Incandescent bulbs are shown but LEDs can replace them with correct resistor values (min 680 ohms). Minimum resistor value for “grain of wheat” 1.5 volt bulbs is 470 ohms. This assumes track voltage is around 13 to 14 volts.

To fix issue with Soundtraxx KeepAlive, solder 100 ohm resistor between points shown by arrows.
